Implementation Of Network Learning Strategis In Thematic Learning


     One of the journals related to E-learning namely Application of Network Learning Strategies in Thematic Learning in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah by Niken Septantiningtyas and Usratul Hasanah Nurul Jadid University, Indonesia (2022) . The following is a summary of the article.

 Network learning means networked learning. Networked learning is a form of online learning that uses network technology (Internet, WAN, LAN) to connect individuals or groups and enable the transfer of information between teachers and students.

Information and communication technology has an important role in the field of education, so that in learning activities between teachers and students experience convenience. Using this network learning method, teachers are expected to make the material being taught more interesting so that students can easily understand the learning material. With learning materials that are made in a variety of ways, it can make students more interested in participating in the learning process. In addition, supporting facilities must also be available such as cellphones, laptops, adequate internet network access to maintain interaction connectivity between teachers and students. So that learning activities must be supported by sufficient facilities and infrastructure so that they have a good effect on results.

Therefore, researchers are interested in conducting research on network learning strategies in thematic learning, as an effort to develop the use of learning methods applied by teachers. As for the learning media in the network learning method issued many variations. So that educators have the opportunity to choose learning media in accordance with the standard capabilities possessed by the educational institution itself. Based on the technological age, learning activities must minimize using the lecture method and can be supported by the use of learning media. If you look at current learning activities that prioritize a wealth of process skills and active learning, then the role of the media is important learning for teachers and students.

This type of research is qualitative. The method used is descriptive method. It means a method that describes a phenomenon, event or symptom in the circumstances as it is and does not test certain hypotheses. The data found in this study, researchers collected data using several instruments, namely: observation, interviews, documentation. Sources of data in this study were obtained directly from informants through interviews with thematic teachers and fourth grade students and observations regarding the application of network learning strategies in thematic learning, and other data sources also through documentation and notes from researchers while on site.

The results of the study show that the network strategy uses electronic devices in the form of laptops or cellphones through the internet network in the learning process. Starting with the delivery of learning materials or assignments, learning interactions, and learning evaluation. Student learning progress is monitored. The network learning media used by thematic teachers is maximizing Madrasah e-Learning applications and other applications. (Source: https://www.mendeley.com )
